Life Line periodic controls

According to standard UNI EN 795, the life line or life lines are a set of anchors positioned on reconstructions and newly constructed buildings to which workers can be hooked by means of harnesses and relative ropes; it/they may be temporary or stable.

The periodic controls of life lines are necessary in that the installation of the fall-prevention systems are an obligation acknowledged in different regions of Italy and recommended on a national level by Italian Lgs. Decree 81/2008 and successive modifications and amendments. Workers are the main subjects exposed to the risk of falling and are obliged to require the documentation of the life lines before accessing the roof; moreover, they are obliged to verify that the latest review conducted was not longer than one year and to personally control the correspondence and integrity of the life line itself.

By relying on an extensive network of qualified professionals, as a company we provide the support and expertise useful for operating on the roof, ensuring the execution of the following periodic tests and verifications:

  • VERIFICATION OF THE TENSIONING OF THE ANCHORING LINES.
  • CONTROL OF THE POTENTIAL ENERGY ABSORBERS.
  • CONTROL OF THE INTEGRITY OF THE TERMINAL POINTS OF THE ANCHORING LINES.
  • INSPECTION OF THE ANCHORING POINTS.
