Industrial shelving systems are load-bearing structures that are essential for the safe and efficient storage of materials within warehouses and production facilities. Over time, wear and tear, accidental impacts or uncontrolled modifications may compromise their stability.

At ECO Certificazioni, we carry out comprehensive industrial shelving assessments, evaluating compliance with technical standards and their state of preservation.

Our objective is to ensure that each structure remains safe, reliable and compliant with UNI EN 15635, thereby protecting people, goods and installations.

How we operate

During the assessment, our qualified technicians carry out:

• inspection of the state of preservation and structural integrity;

• verification of the available technical documentation;

• identification of damage, deformations or non-conformities;

• evaluation of the safety measures in place and of the rated load capacities;

• issuance of a detailed report including any required corrective and preventive actions.

If the shelving system does not have a data plate or the original documentation, ECO Certificazioni performs on-site measurements, FEM numerical modelling and structural calculations in order to determine the actual load capacity and ensure maximum safety.

Inspection Frequency

To maintain safety and compliance over time, it is recommended to carry out industrial shelving assessments every 12 months, as required by the applicable technical standards (UNI EN 15635).

At the end of the inspection, we issue a certification valid for one year and also provide ongoing support in the management and maintenance of the structures, ensuring the full efficiency of your warehouse in the long term.
